There are six (6) membership categories in IOVOP, namely, National Entity, International and Regional NGO Member, Business Member, Individual Member, Honorary Member and Sponsors.
National Entity Member: National Entity means the group, partnership, corporation, association, foundation or other organization within a country, or a governmental office, ministry, or agency within a country which best represents the OVOP items of such country. National Entities apply to the IOVOP head office in Japan and Vietnam for ratification. Membership dues in IOVOP for the National Entity Member is set at US$1,000 payable annually.
International and Regional NGO Member: IOVOP welcomes members from the International and regional Non-Governmental Organizations who are sympathetic to the role of OVOP in society and operate programmes related to OVOP products and services, especially the programs related to livelihood improvements, women economic empowerment, inclusive business, community-based tourism... NGOs apply to the OVOP regional office or head office in Japan and Vietnam for ratification. Membership dues in IOVOP for the International and Regional NGO Member is set at US$1,000 payable annually.
Business member: IOVOP encourages business members that involve in different stages of OVOP developments, from the producers, traders, buyers, distributors, tour operators, business service providers… Membership dues in IOVOP for the business member is set at US$500 payable annually.
Individual Member: Practicing OVOP or supporters of OVOP development, who accept to promote the principles and objectives of IOVOP may be admitted as Individual Members of IOVOP. Membership dues in IOVOP for individuals is set at US$100 payable annually.
Honorary Members: An Honorary Member is recommended by a National Entity and admitted by vote of the board of IOVOP. No fees required for the Honorary Members
Sponsors: Organisations who provide funding and or resources that contribute to the development of IOVOP in line with its aims and objectives. No fees required for the Honorary Members.
